Raiders wide receiver Randy Moss returns to Minnesota on Monday for the first time since being traded from the Vikings.
Re: Vikings still reeling in aftermath of Moss trade
I don't know how it was a total bust.. Sure Williamson didn't fare well in his rookie year, and Harris didn't live up to his rep, but we did win more games then we did the previous season with Moss..
I am sure both Harris, and Williamson will both step up their games this season, and maybe they won't be comparing the trades anymore..
Re: Vikings still reeling in aftermath of Moss trade
He's gone, people need to get over it.
Blame Red. Don't how his hair looks on the sideline as long as we can stop him.
Stupid boat trip will never go away.
Re: Vikings still reeling in aftermath of Moss trade
Harris wasn't the problem, the Defensive Coordinator was.
And nobody expected (or should have expected ) Williamson to "replace" Moss his rookie year.
Good point VikesfaninWis, we did win more regular season games last year with our Moss than we won in 2004 with him.
The fact that we made it to the playoffs in 2004 demonstrates the state of the NFC that more than the state of the Vikings.
Re: Vikings still reeling in aftermath of Moss trade
*sigh*
this guy must have been hard up for an article...my god!
I hate all this stuff I'm reading that is saying Williamson is a bust.
I would guess 90-95% of the top WR's in league didnt have very productive years.
The WR positions seems to be one of those that take a year to get used to in the NFL before the player truely excels
Re: Vikings still reeling in aftermath of Moss trade
I don't see how they can call it a horrible trade based off of last season stats.
Moss didn't do anything spectacular last season either.
Re: Vikings still reeling in aftermath of Moss trade
??? Dwelling on a trade that happened in the previous era of Vikings management isn't gonna do any good. Instead of looking backwards at our past, lets get excited for our future.
Re: Vikings still reeling in aftermath of Moss trade
We're still reeling from the Moss trade? I think not.Sure it sucks he isnt here, and we might not have a WR put up 15 TD's this year...but the most important aspect of this year is that we are finally a team.Teams when games and championships, not a bunch of all stars with bad egos!
