Vikings still bitter about loss in NFC title game

Minnesota Vikings still bitter about loss in NFC title game

"They were who we thought they were," said an animated Shiancoe. "We let 'em off the hook."
"We were controlling the line of scrimmage," tight end Jim Kleinsasser said. "That makes the film so hard to watch. It's one thing if you got beat soundly. But we felt like we were in control."
"I don't think they got a beat on what could work and what couldn't," Leber said. "We had them a little bit off balance. They still made some plays, but in a big game like that with the No. 1 offense, they are going to make some plays. I thought we did a good job keeping composure and playing a good game."
"It's time to finish it," defensive tackle Pat Williams said when the Vikings reported for training camp. "We didn't finish it last year. We're here to finish it and not come in second place like we did last year."

Haha, Shiancoe is pulling a Dennis Green. The loss wont be as bitter after Thursday night.

All of us are bitter straight away by a loss, its how it was conducted and what happened around it that sucks.

    It should go:

"We didn't know who we thought we were" as the only team that beat the Vikes was the Vikes. And we damn sure fumbled them off the hook.

"Stupid is as stupid does" and the Vikes stupidly turned the ball over more times than a pancakes at a IHOP.

0+ turnovers and the games in the bag.
