Vikings' statistics after week 3

So far in 2008...

Kevin Williams and Jared Allen have 2 sacks each. If they keep it up, they will each have 10 sacks by the end of the season.

Ray Edwards said he wanted to break the single season sack record. So far he has yet to make his first sack of the season.

Adrian Peterson is in the second place for most rushing yards this season averaging 113,3 yards per game. If he keeps it up, he will reach 1812,8 yards by the end of the season.

Minnesota Vikings' run defense looks as good as last year. Minnesota is among the top 3 teams at stopping the run with 70,3 yards per game. Last year, Minnesota alowed 74,1 yards per game.

Minnesota Vikings' run offense still looks among the league's best. Minnesota's total rushing yards per game is 161,7. Last year, Minesota rushed for 164,6 yards per game.

Minnesota's runningbacks have had trouble finding the end-zone thus far, only making one rushing TD.

Don't sweat it yet--last year the Giants ans Pats proved Sept. about as meaningless as Pre-season.
Look around the NFC north--could be a dogfight.
I like our chances!

Stats aren't going to matter much this weekend against the Titans. This weekend stats, like turnovers, and penalties will determine the outcome. On the road we have to play mistake free football, and create turnovers, and some short field oppertunities. A defensive score could easily decide the outcome of this game.

I look for Gus to have another 200+ yard game, and AD, and CT will rush for another 140 yards. I think the Titans will double Jared, so look for Ray to get a couple sacks on the way to his incredable goal of 20.

Haven't been on much.
How are the WR's looking with respect to health?

If they can get off the line and get a bit of separation we will win.
If they don't, the RB's will have to carry the load (again), making us one dimensional, and we might (Big Might) lose.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

This just in... Aundre Allison has replaced B.Wade in the slot...

haha just kidding... you got all excited for a secnd didn't you!!!!...

the receivers looked good last week and based on the QB change, i think a lot of teams don't really know what to expect from us.. if Gus can hit a couple of those passes he missed last week in the 1st quarter on a consistent basis.. we look like we could have one of the best offenses in the league....

they all seem pretty healthy.. i even think bb's toe is in pretty good shape to!

I expect by week 5, Allison will have a more involved part of this offense.
I think the reason he doesn't now, isn't for lack of talent, more that he's still very young, spent the majority of the time last year on special teams, I just don't think he knows the playbook inside and out like Wade (hopefully) does,
