Vikings Start Reflection, Looking Ahead
In the hours following their season-ending overtime loss to the Denver Broncos, the Vikings were reflecting on what might have been and looking to the future.
The Vikings’ season hadn’t been over for an hour when players started looking

stand-up quote from Childress in that article:
“This group battled all year long,†Childress said Sunday. “The bottom line is my disappointment in not being able to take this team to the playoffs this year. I’d go back to the saying (former NFL coach) Bill Parcells had: ‘You are what your records says you are.’ We are an 8-8 football team.â€ÂKentucky Vikes Fan

Again thanks for posting the article Cojomay. We all have alot to be thankful for with this team. They gave us hope, and played over and beyond what the so-called experts said they would. We came close to post season, and have a great nucleus of players for next season. Sprinkle in a good draft, with a couple FA pickups, and a trade or two we will be force for years to come. We are what we are, and I like it.

I know it's only one game, but I like this kid Mills...Shaincoe was a disappointment.

I thought the same thing. If a player is ready to play, can help the team, and the staff holds him back, that is inexcusable.97% and Rice was not on the field. WTF!

Re: Vikings Start Reflection, Looking Ahead
well....the Team Doctors kept Rice off the field not the coaches. Rice was being overly optomistic about it being 97 percent. I like his attitude though. He would have played if he was cleared.
Second thing about the article I found interesting was how loyal B.Wade was addressing the T.Williamson situation. He was very generous/gracious in talking about Troy. I think that says a lot about B.Wade too.
Childress comment/quote did not surprise me. He has said similar things after poor games most of the time this season. He's right...they are an 8 and 8 team with lot's of room for improvement in 08.
Happy New Year.....Cheers!Where is Frostbite Falls Minnesota?
