Vikings | Smoot Says He's Worried

The Star Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings CB Fred Smoot (knee) said he is "worried" about the condition of his right knee and said he will undergo more tests Monday, Aug. 15, to determine if it is injured worse than originally believed. "It's very frustrating," the Vikings cornerback said as he walked slowly into Gage Hall at Minnesota State, Mankato. "I am worried about it. Right now, they say it is a bruise. But I'm going to get it checked out again. I'll find out if something is wrong there." Athletic trainer Chuck Barta has described the injury as a soft tissue contusion.

What happened to smoot?

Man, I really hope Smoots alright. That would really suck if it was something serious wrong. We need Smoot.

Heck yea man! If we don't have Smoot I doubt we could blitz as much without him.

No way we could blitz near as much or near as effective

ale: . Brian Williams is good and all but not good enough yet to play man up all game on a #1 or #2 reciever. I guess we'll just keep our fingers crossed?

he has to play i love him more than dick vermiel loves trent green...

but we need him, tehre probably the 2nd best tandem at corner back, and maybe 2nd or 3rd at overall db's alll those big plays we let by will not happen anymore
