Thread: Vikings sign new safety

The Vikes signed Omar Lowe 3rd safety formerly of the Jets and was originaly was drafted by Miami.

The waived Eiland to make room on the roster and the will probably sign Eiland to the practice squad if he clears waiver (don't see much chance he would be claimed).

I personaly know nothing about Lowe, if anybody has a take on him please give info about him.

Is this a good pick-up or bad or a reach?

Cottrell must be familiar with him, since he was on the Jets last year, and must have faced him when the Jets played the Dolphins. He must have some confidence in his abilities.

Yeah I think that must be it. We have signed a lot of players that Cottrell either knows or likes shows how much more influence he has here than in NY. I'm looking forward to seeing how his defense performs.

Well to tell u the truth i dont know if its much improvement over Eiland, I guess hes smart and he hits hopefully he can provide on specail teams.
