Vikings reward long snapper Loeffler with extension: Fan reaction - NFL - Yahoo! Sports......Although that still leaves 17 players currently on the roster who are not signed past this season, there's now one less to worry about as the end of the season grows nearer.

That is the flawed logic by those who think we should wait until next year to start Ponder. The team took a hit this year but will take a bigger one next year and if they think he would either get killed or not have the team around him this year they will be really shocked at what he is going to have around him next year.

Although this flies under the radar a bit, this is really a good signing and one that should have happened before the season started.
