I like the line up with Jennings, Wright, and Rudolph.

And the best part IMHO is that Ponder has the tools to perform. And if he doesn't perform we have another QB on the roster who can legitimately take over the starting spot.
Add a vertical/red zone threat at 23 or 25 and you have a pretty solid crew there.

Agreed on the QB! But at least we have weapons to draw one in. And our team got better. That's all I ever wanted. Starting 2 rookies wasn't the answer. I disagree about Jennings not being a #1. Love the 5 year deal too. Says we have no intention other than winning now! Christian Ponder is officially on the clock now...

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

Longwell and Sharper peaked at the Vikes after moving from the dark side, hopefully Jennings does too. If we can draft well in the position, and Rudolph continues to shine we will find out what Ponder can really do.

Think about this- I back in the day when we had moss, carter and reed he would have been a distant 4th on the depth chart.

He will make us better though, so you gotta take that though.
I know what you are saying, but I was referring more to the positions that they play. Percy was best suited to playing in the slot/backfield. That is where he was dangerous. But we didn't have anyone who could play outside except for Simpson. Now we can line up Jennings and Simpson/Rookie x on the outside, Wright in the slot and Rudolph in at TE. That is a more complete WR line up than we have had in years.

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Paid the man! Anything under 10 was fine with me as long as its back-loaded.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

A little higher than I would have liked. I still say there was a more talented player we could have gotten in the draft and kept the money but hell, the fans were damn near ready for a mutiny so I guess a few shekels in the wishing well to appease the masses is money well spent.
