Good signing I suppose. Atleast he was cut from a good defensive team(ravens), I'd rather have there cast offs than cast offs from the rams or raiders or something.

Cook was practicing today so that's good.

I'm not as worried as some simply because Griffith and Cook have both missed time and the pass defense has not been too bad.

WIthout actually looking up any stats, it seems like we haven't played any great passing teams this year. I'd be worried going up against the Packers with what we have right now...but Cook should be back by then.

We played the No. 5 passing offense the first week of the season. They are 5 better than Green Bay. We also faced the No. 6 pass offense against Detroit.

As a matter of fact ... Dallas is the best passing offense we will have faced thus far (3).

Hell Miami (12) is barely worse than the Packers.

So we have faced passing offenses: 5, 6, 12 and 25.

We are holding our own pretty well. We are the 6th best pass defense.

What were the rankings when we played them? I don't care what the Lions ranking is, they aren't the 6th best passing offense. Maybe against St. Louis, but not other teams.

Kind of out of the norm for Childress to bring in a player during the season, who hasn't previously played for the Eagles.

Dont know too much about him but it can't do any harm. As BH said above, Cook is practicing so that is a good sign too.

Walker is just assurance to our CB depth. He is the best available out of free agent CB. His problem is that he is prone to getting a pass interference call against him once or twice a game. He tends to get beat a couple of times a game and will grab and hold to compensate. We don't know if he is a decent CB because of the defenses that he played behind or his talent. Time will tell.
