Good, keep signing prospects...competition for roster spots and roster depth is is a great thing.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

Depends on how much they gave him & how long they signed him for.

Why would that matter on if he was a camp body or someone they are giving a chance to make the team?

Like Arceneaux (who wasn't signed just for a camp body, camp bodies go away at the end of camp, Arceneaux didn't) he appears to have some skills at that level. My guess is they are going to give him a chance to see if NFL level coaches can help him take the next step.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Do you generally give 3 year or 5 year deals to "camp bodies"? If not, then it matters.

Spielman isn't signing camp bodies at this point, he's looking for that diamond in the rough just like he did with Arceneaux in 2011 & others last year. Thus his 3 year deal. His diamonds just didn't pan out. Camp bodies are easily found with walk ons & UDFA after the draft.
