??? Oft injured? He hasn't missed a game due to an injury since 2004 when he missed 6 games. Now C-Tay on the other hand has been injured twice this year already.

The new-look line yielded only one sack, but also opened up few holes in the running game for Mewelde Moore, who started in place of the injured Michael Bennett. Moore had six carries for 21 yards before leaving in the second quarter with a sprained ankle.

Tice said he was concerned about Moore's injury because it is the same ankle he hurt last season. ...

    Sprained Wrist

Huddle Up: Vikings RB Mewelde Moore took himself out of Sunday's game after injuring his wrist in Sunday's game against the Lions. Moore was hurt in the third quarter when he fell on his wrist during a hit out of bounds by Lions' safety Kenoy Kennedy. According to reports the Vikings' medical staff gave him the OK to return but after attempting to hold the football he felt that he wasn't going to do and good job securing the football and told the coaching staff that he couldn't play. Head coach Mike Tice actually commended Moore on making a smart decision and said that while they were still awaiting the results of an MRI he didn't consider the injury to be serious. At this point it looks like just a minor sprain but we will know more once the MRI results are released.

    Quadriceps Injury

Huddle Up: Vikings' RB Mewelde Moore left Thursday's practice after injuring his quadriceps and while his official status for Sunday's game is probable the team will have to wait to see how his leg responds to treatment over the next couple of days before they know if he will be able to play this weekend or not. It is not clear how Moore got hurt but according to reports he was extremely sore this morning and the Vikings will likely keep him limited until gameday. We probably won't know anything concrete until Sunday so check back then for an update.
    May 12/06

Time and again in his young career Moore has shown that he is adept in both running and receiving out of the backfield, a quality than can be utilized greatly in new head coach Brad Childress' version of the West Coast offense. The only thing besides the hype around Taylor that is holding Moore back now is his proneness to nagging injuries. In fact, he will be limited in this week's upcoming minicamp because of a sore wrist.

However, despite Moore's injury troubles, he deserves every opportunity to beat out Taylor for the starting job in 2006. In his career, when getting 20 or more touches, he has eclipsed the century mark six of seven times. Also, he has gone for 182, 187, 168, 104, 120, 138, and 76 total yards when receiving 20 or more carries touches. Not too shabby for a "backup" running back.

    Sep. 9 News:

I think some of his nicks haven't cost him a number of games but bits of games, when he is 100 % he has done really well. If I recall correctly when he hurt his wrist he had problems handling punts and he was replaced and that took 2 or 3 weeks before his was back but he still dressed.

His nicks have limited his action and keeped him behind Smith, Williams, Bennett and brought in Talyor

The Vikings are reportedly shopping Mewelde Moore. Moore, 25, is buried on the Vikings depth chart. Minnesota is 1-3 (but with a +8 point differential) and looking towards next year, where a good draft, including a franchise quarterback, could quickly return this team, that is talented on both lines, to respectability in 2008 and contention soon thereafter........

It's a little random in terms of a rumor, and I don't really see the Seahawks coming up with an offer for him.

However it shows that there are people out there who are looking for him.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

    Tampa brought in Zach Crockett.

Seahags will find someone else that they can dust off also.
    LOL!

The NFL doesn't do trades anymore.
Too big of a price tag.
We have talked about it for 11 pages and nothing will get done. The odds are in my favor on this one.
