Thread: and the Vikings select ...

The 2004 Draft is coming up on April 24. The Vikings have the #19 pick in the 1st round. Who do you think will be available for us to pick up? Listed are players given in many mock drafts I have seen. Also is the possiblity of trading our pick to move up in the draft and lock in someone, or trading to move down and get more picks. So, give me your best guesses on who the Vikes will select with their first pick!

Will Smith will be gone before then.

I have a feeling Smith will still be on the board.

I think the Vikes will draft Will Smith. If he isn't there, then it is anyones guess what they will do.

We will most like not trade up. IF Smith is available at 19 it is a no brainer that we will pick him. If not, we could easily pick D.J. or a WR (if a quality one drops). Otherwise, I really see us dropping down and maybe picking Odom, a WR, Dansby or someone else that will be a late 1st, top second pick.

Smith will be availabile and the vikings will draft him.

I think they will trade down and get babbin then it would be nice to get bolware or the safty from georgia.Also maybe sign gildon from steelers.
