    Vikings schedule 2008

As we apparently are talking about free agency and what not, I thought this would also be relevant to throw out here mid season:

    Chicago (x2)
    Detroit (x2)
    Green Bay (x2)
    Atlanta
    Carolina
    New Orleans
    Tampa Bay
    Houston
    Indianapolis
    Jacksonville
    Tennessee
+ 2 NFC teams from NFC East and NFC West determined by position.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

With the way some of those teams are playing... That doesn't look like an easy schedule AT ALL...
    Ouch.
There's some tough defenses in there too.

It is amazing the difference a year can make though.
Teams that are good this year may not be next year and vice versa.

    Thanks Cogs. Very intersting.

Although there seems to be a mix of tough and fluff, lets wait and see what the offseason brings (i.e FA period, draft and coaching changes, if any).

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    I disagree.
I don't think it looks like that tough of a schedule at all.
Not to say that teams like Tennessee, Houston, New Orleans etc. suck, but most of these teams are hovering around .500 right now.
The only games I'd label as "tough" would be Indy, Jacksonville, and the two against the Packers.
The Vikings appear to be on roughly equal footing with the rest of the teams.
There may only be one or two "easy" games (Atlanta comes to mind), but it's not a schedule that has me as worried as this season initially did with the likes of Dallas, Philadelphia, San Diego, Denver, two each with the Bears and Packers, Kansas City and the Giants.
Of course, most of these teams have been underwhelming this season.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens the rest of this year and in the offseason.

I've stopped trying to predict how hard next year will be by just looking at the schedule. Each year you have some teams that seem to come out of nowhere and become a really good team, and you have teams that were great the year before and flop (Da Bears)

The only game Im concerned about at this point is the Lions game this Sunday.
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

    Re: Vikings schedule 2008

I hope the Vikings come here to AZ to play the Cards next year. Last time I went to a Vikes game was a few years ago here in AZ, it was the last game of the season and we lost on the last pass of the game, killed our playoff chances (Poole ring a bell??....Well, if not, he is the no name WR that caught the game winning pass as time was running down)...it was rough walking out of that place haha.

That game was at Sun Devil stadium, The new Cardinals stadium is the shit, Would love to see the Vikes play there.
