How many of you have some sort of shrine in your house?

This stuff used to all be in the living room , but my significant other made me take it down lol

    Re: Vikings Rooms / Walls?

I cant get to any of my pictures right now since my laptop hard drive crashed a month or so ago, but here is a link to an old thread in which I showed some pictures as I was building my Vikings room about a year and a half ago.

    http://www.purplepride.org/forums/index.php?topic=35472.0

The pics on the first couple of pages dont show anything on the walls yet, you have to go to some of the later pages before you start getting a feel for closer to how it looks now.

I have updated it steadily over the last year and a half, and need to get some new pictures that I can post on here.
One of the most recent additions was about a month ago I put up a "Vikings Christmas Tree" it was a gag gift that my family gave me last Christmas a bunch of all purple and gold ornaments and yellow light strings.
They said why dont you take the old Christmas Tree and make one for the Vikings Room.
So this year I took my small collection of Vikings Ornaments that I had collected over the years and they went on the Vikings tree as well instead of on the main one upstairs.
Instead of a star on top I have a Mini-helmet.
It is pretty cool, and has become another of my superstitions/good luck charms.

So today when my wife and I took down all the Christmas decorations inside and outside of the house, she said "why arent you getting down the box for the second tree?"
and I explained to her that we have been playing very well since I put up the Vikings Tree, and therefore it will be staying up until we loose.
I informed her that if we go to the Superbowl that would mean that it will be up until Feb.
She didnt say anything, because she knew that it would not have mattered.

Thanks Mars, I'll be adding more soon (and a Twins wall on the opposite side).

And Turboe, sweet room, I didn't see if you have a "fathead" there but if not you should hire me to make you one!
    (for free of course)

lol ... I love the comittment Leaving the tree up ... good call I am sure it will pay off tomorrow!!!

Your room is sweet Turboe I would be proud to call that my man cave... You mentioned that you got the full spread for tomorrow and will be watching by yourself...I am in the same situation, but a few of my brothers will be around (none are Vikings fans) so I get razzed pretty hard.
