    Im eating some

I didn't think he would be a very good WR for a couple years personaly

    Glad to eat that crow
Nice to see someone with balls admit to this.

    No doubt

I thought he would make a good improvement for us on special teams

But didn't think he would have 2 Tds in 2 games and make some nice receptions and nice runs

More then happy to eat some crow
Nobody was harder on him than me before the season. I actually never saw him play until the preseason and now I am glad I waited.

What surprised me is how physical of a runner he can be.
Thought he would get the ball in the open and just fly.
Absolutely love to watch that little guy break a tackle.

    I don't.
Spend way to much of my time on the pro-game.
By the way, that win over Nebraska 16-15 was a good one though.....Hokies (2-1)

Wow, with such an astute knowledge of the game you do not watch college ball?
If you had, you would know what we were getting in Harvin.
A friend of mine is from Gainesville and he said Harvin was by far the best athlete on the team.

    College ball is awesome.

    So is High School ball.
Gives you an appreciation when it is not overpaid athletes out there.

I knew what we were getting, but it was from his Va Beach days just down the street.

Re: Vikings rookie Harvin is an undeniable talent

Not only did I watch Harvin and some of his college games, and then saying to myself that that kid was going to be something speical in the NFL, but one Viking great also confirmed what I did see.
I remember Chris Carter making a comment that, Percy Harvin, was by far the best player coming out of college last year, with the most already in place, Pro Level style of play.
Carter said something also like, he was a man playing among boys in college.

When Chris Carter speaks that highly of a player, many before us in the draft must have missed it, or didn't listen.
I was tickled pink that he fell to us, and we drafted him.

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.
