Vikings' defense must get more pressure on quarterbacks

...when it came to stopping the pass Minnesota was terrible, finishing with the league's worst aerial defense....

Re: Vikings' defense must get more pressure on quarterbacks
This was my biggest complaint of Mike Tomlin.
After the shredding the Patriots put on the Vikings pass defense, Tomlin never had an answer the rest of the season to resolve the pass defense.
Once you get exposed, you have to quickly adjust or teams will continue to expose the weakness.

Re: Vikings' defense must get more pressure on quarterbacks
WE will have 45+ sacks this year, and will be a at the top or near it in total defense.
I say a top 5 rush D, and a top 15 pass D. Our defense will generate more turn-overs, and sacks, pressuring opposing QB's into mistakes. This will give our offense more short field scoring opportunities, while scoring more themselves.

Wow, yet another insightful article pointing out information that someone in a coma would be aware of.

I would be ecstatic if we averaged 3 sacks per game.

Did you read the comment at the end. Damn near spewed coffee out my nose

Not sure if my previous post "posted"! - If Training Camp is any indication, there's going to be alot of surprised players and fans in Chicago and Green Bay! Looking at their fan sites is like looking at chipmunk traps loaded with peanut butter with Chip-N-Dale dancing blissfully blind near the jaws. They're just not seeing it! They don't seem to have looked at the defense Bible according to Leslie Frazier. - And, man, it's going to be great! Nobody looks as nice on TV close-ups as Bears & Brett Farve sitting on the bench in the last minutes of a game looking like they're going to blow chunks. It's just great! - You wanna see blitz? You're like for sure gonna see it!Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

MANKATO, Minn. - First in the NFL against the run and tied for last against the pass, the Vikings had the best and worst of defenses last season, but don't put all the blame on the secondary....
