Vikings' raging bull rusher needs to control his temper

Vikings' raging bull rusher needs to control his temper
August 06, 2007
By Kevin Seifert, Star Tribune

Defensive end Ray Edwards plays angry, which is good as long as he keeps that anger simmering and doesn't let it boil over.

MANKATO - A few players were pushing and shoving Saturday night when, suddenly but predictably, a certain Vikings hothead arrived on the scene, throwing haymakers and landing most of them. Ray Edwards, central to the team's hopes for an improved pass rush, had just exploded with enough aggression to get himself ejected from a regular-season game.
Indeed, Edwards has produced an eye-opening training camp, solidifying a starting role no matter when presumed starter Erasmus James returns from knee surgery. If Edwards maintains his current approach, the Vikings say he can be a 10-sack player.
I hope they back that talk up.

Thanks Billy Boy.
I'm looking forward to watching this guy play.

I was happy with drafting Edwards last year. Another steal, in my opinion. I hope can live up to my expectations, cause I got a bad feeling about Erasmus. I would like to see James live up to his potential, but...we'll see. If James can play, then great.

Perhaps now Zeus will understand why I didn't post this article this morning.

I "searched" this morning to see if someone had already posted it & discovered that Billy Boy had already done so, shortly after midnight.

A defensive end with a mean streak.
That is what we need.
I cannot wait to see him put Joey Harrington on his back in another month.

The stupid Star-Tribune had a different link for the story depending upon how it was accessed.
I'm guessing Billy got his from the STrib web-page, whereas I found it via an RSS feed.
Try and do the right thing by searching on the article's link and see what you get!

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

That's why I never search for a URL link. A lot of articles are printed in multiple papers with different links & even differet titles.
