Could it be that Johnson is Childress' scapegoat?
What would it look like if
Tjack went in with the same pathetic results from a poorly configured gameplan?

I seem to recall that Childress was the offensive coordinator for a 6-10 Eagles team that conveniently had the "distraction" of T.O.

Albeit, Johnson looked miserable last game, and the game before (and so on)
he was a good 2nd string last year...maybe that's his forte.
Why not give Tjack the start and if he looks thin in there, bring Johnson in to salvage the game.

And to think Bolinger was starting to look good...what has this year come to?
Childress never called the plays in Philedelphia, Andy Reid did. Blaming Childress for the Eagles 6-10 record is about the same as blaming Derrick Bevell for our 5-7 record.

Vikings coach Brad Childress is mum on his starting quarterback for Sunday's game at Detroit, but count on Brad Johnson over rookie Tarvaris Jackson, at least for one more week

The Vikings are sticking with Brad Johnson as their starting quarterback for Sunday's game at Detroit. They just aren't talking about it....

"That's coach's decision," guard Steve Hutchinson said. "But everybody is fine and trusts in Brad and any other quarterback we put in the game."

Wide receiver Travis Taylor, asked the team's confidence level in Johnson, said: "It's there. The guy played 14 or 15 years. He was a Super Bowl (winner). … So obviously what he's done in his career speaks for itself."
Sounds to me like the players are behind any QB we start, whether it be BJ, BB or T-Jack.

Unless you've been in the locker room or a team meeting, I'll believe the words of a player over fan speculation anyday.
