+ Just a few minutes ago the Packers signed Brian Brohm to their Practice Squad.

Booty joining Vikes' practice squad
John David Booty has signed onto the Vikings' practice squad, according to the Twitter page of NFL Network's Jason La Canfora.

Our View: It looks like the Vikes will get to hold onto all four of the quarterbacks, at least for the beginning of the season. The team may still listen to trade offers for Tarvaris Jackson, and Booty would join the active roster if any of the three QB's were injured or traded

Thought so.
To many other QB's on the FA list right now that are better than JDB.
Wish that was the case when Thigpen was released.

+1, as well as Booty and Mills.
I'm very happy we got those four.

There are a few positions on this Team that are not REAL strong with top-flight talent ( WR, C, RG ), yet at least we have DEPTH !

If a starter goes down, maybe with the exception of RT, & C ( Cook is the back up at both ) we can be OK for a while...IMO

Yes Ian Johnson made the practice squad!

I just noticed that ex-Viking Center Melvin Fowler was cut by the Cards. 30 years old, experienced, #310 with a little more ballast than Cooper for back-up. What do you think about him?

My guess is they both had to many active games.

Love Otis, but in all reality, he was guy they picked up off the streets that out played himself.


Colt Anderson is the one I am happiest about.
Love that cat.
