Vikings Post Game Articles

Vikings’ Jackson needs time, patience
http://www.lacrossetribune.com/articles/2007/09/23/sports/03myers23.txt

This is an excellent article where the writer says, bit your tongue and give it some time.

Well it’s over. The Minnesota Vikings are doomed and it’s time to go in another direction. Bench quarterback Tarvaris Jackson and fire that idiot coach Brad Childress.

If you happen to listen to sports talk radio or read reports coming out of the Twin Cities, this is the message you are getting. While I’m certain this is a good way to rile up listeners and sell newspapers, it makes as much sense as asking Michael Vick to take care of your dogs when you go on vacation.

Minnesota — like many teams before them — has decided to go with a young inexperienced quarterback as its starter. Not an ideal situation for sure, but not the end of the world, either...

It is a good article Cojo, but it came out before the game.
;D

I started a thread about it.

Most games are won or lost on a handful of plays. Sunday, there were three plays that ultimately led to the Minnesota Vikings' 13-10 defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs..........

Peterson sits out final drive after big game

Vikings' points-challenged offense scores on its first drive, manages only a field goal after that. Issues with clock management, missed opportunities and questionable personnel choices persist.

KANSAS CITY, MO. - Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe led the Vikings with 51 receiving yards on three catches Sunday against the Chiefs, but a catch he wasn't credited with was a key to the game.....

Holcomb's day goes south after overthrown pass

A misfire on a sure touchdown pass late in the first half marked the turning point for the backup QB in his first Vikings start.

KANSAS CITY, MO. - There were many head-scratching moments in the Vikings' 13-10 loss to Kansas City on Sunday, but one of the biggest occurred late in the first half........

Mark Craig: Defense did a swell job, right up until the Chiefs started throwing

It would be easy to blame the offense for the loss, but the Vikings failed to stop Kansas City once it figured out that running the ball wouldn't work.

The Minnesota Vikings dropped to 1-2 on the season after falling to the Kansas City Chiefs 13-10. Minnesota led for much of the game but failed to answer a late Chiefs touchdown.........

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Who's going to be the Vikings' starting quarterback this week?

That was one of the last questions put to coach Brad Childress after Sunday's 13-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs........
