Rx for victory: Take one rookie back and ride him
Adrian Peterson was given plenty of chances to get his hands on the ball. Except on third downs. And therein lies the problem.Kentucky Vikes Fan

Shortcomings are familiar, and still need fixing
The last of five Vikings turnovers gave the unbeaten Lions a final opportunity, one they didn't squander.Kentucky Vikes Fan

Defense does its share in loss
Two games into the season, the Vikings defense has accounted for more points than the offense and after Sunday's overtime loss, it's no longer a joking matter.Kentucky Vikes Fan

Minnesota showed it can compete with an improved Detroit team, but all those mistakes led to a loss .Kentucky Vikes Fan

Patrick Reusse: Jackson takes the fall after four interceptions
The Detroit Lions ended a 10-game losing streak against the Vikings by surviving 20-17 in overtime on Sunday. The Lions' most important ally in this victory was Tarvaris Jackson, who happens to play quarterback for the Vikings.Kentucky Vikes Fan

Official's error on catch keeps scoring drive alive
The Vikings scored one offensive touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to Detroit, and they used a dose of chicanery to get that one.
The Lions were leading 7-0 with 10 minutes left in the second quarter. On third-and-8 from Detroit's 41, Robert Ferguson did a turn 10 yards downfield and quarterback Tarvaris Jackson threw a low ball.Kentucky Vikes Fan

I read most of them.. lots of small things lost this one for us..
if we could just have done 1 or 2 things different in that game.. we would have a different score.
all in all i see 1 thing that everyone says..
we are improving!!!!
