I don't believe it could be explained any better.
I would like to remind everyone that our OL gave up 0 sacks that game. Yes some of it is Farve but a lot of it was due to the Oline. A late hit can occur on almost every play. It's up to the refs to protect the Qbs by limiting the late hits on them. They did not. Our line men did not go for the killer late hit(minus Ray edwards' slam of Brees).
I cannot really answer your question because... we hit Brees and pressured him often. We pulled up when it was no longer legal to. They did not.
The two biggest hits were on ...
1) The handoff where the defender purposely hit Farve.
2) The dive and crawl up Farve's legs that lead to the INT and injury.
3) Farve was hardly battered that game. Those two hits were late and illegal and caused the injuries.
