Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings S Willie Offord (wrist) suffered a right wrist injury in the first quarter of the team's preseason game Saturday evening, Aug. 19.

Is it serious?Like as in broken, or something torn? This would suck, as we need depth right now with all of our latest injuries.

Hopefully its not too serious.If its not broke and its just a sprain, or a something along those lines...he should be fine.

I really doubt that its that serious of an injury. They taped it up and where going to put him back in last night but they ended up not putting him back in. If it was broke or something they wouldn't have even thought about putting him back in.

One of the MN newspapers in the Sunday edition noted that an x-ray on Offord's wrist was inconclusive. He will need to see a specialist for proper diagnosis.

The Pioneer Press reports Minnesota Vikings rookie S Willie Offord (wrist) injured his right wrist on the opening kickoff Saturday, Aug. 19, and did not return. Offord said X-rays didn't reveal any fracture but that he would have some follow-up tests Sunday, Aug. 20.

Good, good with no fractures, Offord is a vet - he knows the game and is very good on specialteams..
