Gotcha. My apologies for being slow on the uptake. When you talk big fish (whoppers) I tend to get excited.

The Vikings were ranked surprisingly low last season in both running efficiency (No. 20) and pass blocking (No. 14).

Those are important stats. One has to ask, what moved the Vikings up to 11th with those on the books?

The biggest problem is that left tackle Bryant McKinnie(notes) has gone through a terrible regression. The fact that he made the Pro Bowl last year is almost a joke, to say nothing of how disgraceful he acted when he got to Miami for the game and eventually got kicked off the team.

Regression? McKinnie never has been worth the money paid to him. I have no idea why the Vikings allow him to come into camp out of shape year after year. McKinnie is so out of shape, he can barely come out of a three point stance, and he can only block for a limited time on each play. Then, he usually just quits and looks around - even if the quarterback is still holding the ball.
