Vikings offensive line ranked 11th
Quote:
The Vikings' offensive line had its share of critics last season with new starting center John Sullivan and right guard Anthony Herrera seeming to be the most frequent targets.
However, Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports recently ranked the NFL's offensive lines and, with an assist from www.FootballOutsiders.com, the Vikings finished a respectable 11th

11. Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings were ranked surprisingly low last season in both running efficiency (No. 20) and pass blocking (No. 14). The biggest problem is that left tackle Bryant McKinnie(notes) has gone through a terrible regression. The fact that he made the Pro Bowl last year is almost a joke, to say nothing of how disgraceful he acted when he got to Miami for the game and eventually got kicked off the team. Guard Steve Hutchinson is still something special with his ability to pull and hold up the point of attack. He may be the best guard since John Hannah, and that’s saying a lot.

Meh, it's not like they are putting us with the elite nfl lines. 11th is pretty much middle of the pack.
It's hard to say how much worse they might look if it wasn't for all the other talent on offense.
Which teams ranked lower than us would you move ahead?

Re:Vikings offensive line ranked 11th
I don't think 11th is that far off
With Herrera and Hutch coming back strong off injuries
And with Sullivan and Loady getting experiance I think we should be a solid line

Hmmmmmm, tough call. I think I would have to go with ole 64 (not new 64) over Hutch. As much as I like Herrera, it would be fun to watch Randall and Hutch play on each side of Sully.

Agree. I think our OL play this year will be the biggest reason for our success.
