"Sneaked"? Seriously? This guy is a professional writer and he wrote sneaked?

Shouldn't it be "Vikings have SNUCK up on us"

I don't even want to read the article now.
Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Actually, both SNEAKED and SNUCK are acceptable.

Brad Childress and the Vikings are a win away from the playoffs

Ever since the Timberwolves changed coaches and installed Kevin McHale at the helm, all the fervor over the firing of coaches seems to have settled down. In fact, the Wolves change may have had a ripple effect, as even the early-season clamoring for the head of Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress has lessened. Or could it be that he and his team have settled things down themselves?.......

Dear Patrick Reusse,

That is the weakest attempt to eat crow I may have ever witnessed, read, heard about, or experienced.
How dare you attempt to represent yourself in any manner other than the cynic and naysayer about our Vikings that you are.
Jump off our bandwagon, leave us PP.Oers alone with your "trying to make good" drivel.
They didn't "sneak up" on us, the fact that you write about them "sneaking up on 'us'" is an insult on many levels.
Give it a break.

Sincerely,
MaxVike

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

Sneaked is correct technically ... although in the United State snuck is also acceptable and more commonly used.
Being in the news business where I am surrounded by grammar nazis I also know that most newspapers do not use snuck.
