    Re: The Vikings Mt. Rushmore

When people hear the word Minnesota Vikings, some will think of Grant & Tarkenton. Others will think of Cris Carter, Moss & AD.

But I think the majority of people will think of "The Purple People Eaters". That name is synonymous with the Minnesota Vikings & has been for over 40 years. It is a household name.

Regardless of what team you are a fan of, mention the words,
"The Purple People Eaters" & most fans will know who they are & immediately associate them with the Vikings.

    There's your Mt. Vikings......

I'm almost 100% positive that is Paul Dickson.

He was a DT that played here from 1961-1970

Dude, I hope you are joking...it's one of the Purple People Eaters, Gary Larson, per his autograph on the picture
    :-\

    Vikes Mt Rushmore:
Bud Grant, Fran Tarkenton, Alan Page, Paul Krause.
The first three are no brainers...hard to deny Krause as the leading interceptor of all-time.
