Re: The Vikings Mt. Rushmore
There would be 4 Viking greats and AD would be hanging off the side of the cliff, with one hand, chiseling his face with the other.

John Kundla and Bruce Smith may have to be on that list also but then that would be six..

When did George Mikan play for the Vikings?Showing my ages but the all-time BEST Minnesota athletes including coaches, I would have to choose:

Must be our future QB, lets dig him up...hes about as old and mobile as Frerotte.

Re: The Vikings Mt. Rushmore
This is difficult.
Grant is a no-brainer.
But I struggle to put Yary on if there's no McDaniel, just as I struggle to put Page, Randle, or Doleman without any other defensive linemen.
If we're going by a total Vikings career I'd go
Grant
Carter
McDaniel
Yary
But if I go with the best players, who may not have been here as long, I'm going to exclude coaches here.
Doleman
Moss
Page
Peterson
I haven't seen enough of the old school guys actually play the game. I hate to evaluate a player just by statistics and accolades.
