The Vikings Mt. Rushmore
Seeing as ESPN is doing that Mt. Rushmore thing for each state, I just wanted to see who everyone thinks would go on a Minnesota Vikings Mt. Rushmore.
*For those of us who are less educated (or originally from Wisconsin) Mt. Rushmore includes 4 people, not 5, 8, or 10."There are 3 things that sell in America:
Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."

Re: The Vikings Mt. Rushmore
I was thinking...
Bud Grant
Allan Page
Fran Tarkenton
Paul Krause
Alot may argue about Paul Krause but the man holds the record for INTs and played in every SB we ever were in.
I was hard pushing Cris Carter out but man I had to.
And personally Adrian has to show me a couple more amazing years and stop this fumbling crap, its really pissing me off."There are 3 things that sell in America:

Re: The Vikings Mt. Rushmore
Allen Page
Tarkenton
Cris Carter (how this guy wasn't a first ballot hall of famer and Mike Irvin was is complete bull shit)
John Randle
if jaren allen finishes his career here then he may be on there in lieu of randle
mod edit: I fixed the spelling of Carter's name, so we don't have a flood of posts correcting you. - josdin

Showing my ages but the all-time BEST Minnesota athletes including coaches, I would have to choose:
Bernie Bierman
Bronko Nagurski
Herb Brooks
George MikanKentucky Vikes Fan

Must be our future QB, lets dig him up...hes about as old and mobile as Frerotte."There are 3 things that sell in America:

None of them played for the Vikings but I thought it was the 4 best sports figures in Minnesota that ESPN was doing, not just the Vikings. Here's the note from ESPN:"COJOMAY" wrote:

SportsNation nominations determined the four sports icons on the Mt. Rushmores of Sports for the 50 states, Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. SportsCenter wants you to tell us which of the 52 has the best starting lineup. Vote now for the best five, which will be revealed on SportsCenter!Kentucky Vikes Fan

Its cool though, I like your list, Mikan was a hell of a baller even though he looks like the farthest thing from one outside of his 6'10" frame.
