I dont think so. Kiper has him rated the top RB right now, even ahead of Bush, and every draft analyst I have heard has called him a top 5 pick, that wont change barring injury.I think he will fall down the board alot for a few reasons.. A few would be we probably have the best blocking in the big ten.. So alot of his sucsess is from that.. And he is from a school that is not as known as much..

Really now...it is excruciatingly early to be thinking along THESE lines! It is the surest way to cook up a season/career-ending injury for a prospect that I know of! Time to go roll the bones and slay my weekly entrail-goat to see what is going to happen next Sun. I'm only moderately superstitious....but then...I've been a Vikings fan since 1961!

I don't think he is a better back then Bush at all! I don't see why anyone else would think he is either.. Maybe has more potential? Right now Bush is the man.. He has pulled so many amazing runs it's crazy! I'll see after this game what Maroney is really made of.. Another really great D.. I think he is a really good back though

Bush is insane, if for some reason we have a chance to put him in the purple then we need to. He has the ability to win a game all by himself.
One cold January morning I will wake up and be able to say holy sh** they actually won!

I wouldn't mind that at all if that's what it came to, I think Bush is the best all around back in college football.. but I think there will be teams with worst records then us *ahem* like Arizona or Oakland who would be in better position to nab him.

If we were drafting at 12 we better not take a RB this is the year of the LB or OT. The draft is stacked completly with them and it would be stupid not to get AJ Hawk or Ahmad Brooks if we were drafting at 12.
Mel Kipper is crazy if he thinks Laurence Maroney is the best RB in the nation. Its pretty hard to make a statement for him to be the 2nd best let alone better than Bush.
Demonic- Why would Oakland want Reggie Bush when they have Lamont Jordan and need defense badly?http://homepage.mac.com/vijayr/PSU/MM05PSU2.mov (Mario Manningham)

Jordan may be their best option now, he's ok but nothing special.. just look at least week.. the Raiders couldn't run the ball for squat against the Iggles.. fared a little better the previous two weeks.. but Jordan does not look like the answer to their running woes, and Bush is a bigger playmaker.. and the Raiders could use a few more of those if they're ever gonna be considered a SB contender.

They need alot more than to upgrade their running game. Their defense need a lot of love and it is going to be in even worse condition after this year when Charles Woodson leaves. Although they can pick up quiet a few addition through FA when Woodson is gone they are still going to need some people to play Defense.

True that, all I was saying was that Jordan does not appear to be the long term answer for them.
