NFL.com reports Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson has been nominated for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week Award for Week 13. Peterson carried the ball 15 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns.

NFL.com reports Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson has been nominated for the Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week Award for Week 13. Peterson ran for 116 yards and two touchdowns after missing the previous two games due to injury.

NFL.com reports Minnesota Vikings WR Aundrae Allison has been nominated for the Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week Award for Week 13. Allison set a team record with a 103-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

i think it should be allison..

i also think LT will be the ground player of the week, i mean, LT ran for much more than AD did.

As of right now trent edwards is about 10 percent ahead of peterson.Wich is stupid cuz he didnt even have a passing td!He was something like 22 of 36 for 257 yards.I think 2 td's and a 7.7 YPC average should make peterson rookie of the week especially if anyone voting saw that sick juke he put on kennoy kennedy

Sounds good to me, but lets not forget, AP was coming off an injury and 2 game layoff, and he didn't miss a beat......Thats impresive to me.......Allison, sure did shine also.........

Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports the Elias Sports Bureau has changed a ruling from the Week 13 game. Elias has taken away an interception from DE Kenechi Udeze. They have credited DE Ray Edwards with a sack and forced fumble while giving Udeze a fumble recovery.

Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Doug Hendrickson, agent for Minnesota Vikings DE Ray Edwards, said via email the reason Edwards tested positive for a banned substance was he took some workout supplements that he thought were OK under league guidelines. Edwards will miss the next four games.
