Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings DL Kenechi Udeze will speak publicly Friday, April 18, for the first time since being diagnosed with a form of leukemia in February. Udeze will be at the team's facilities to discuss the need for marrow donors.

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports the Minnesota Vikings are considering offering their first-round pick and second-round pick in next year's NFL Draft to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for DL Jared Allen, according to sources.

The Minnesota Vikings are scheduled to hold a pre-draft press conference Thursday, April 24, at 1:15 p.m. in the Winter Park Fieldhouse. Head coach Brad Childress, vice president of player personnel Rick Spielman and director of college scouting Scott Studwell will be available to answer questions regarding the 2008 NFL Draft.
