If he is hurt they will just plug in the next guy and keep going full steam ahead.

Pat Williams is just too important to our run defense, especially with our playoff chances being tested against the #1 and #2 rushing teams in the NFL.
If he's not in there our chances of winning goes way down.
I'm hopeful that the injury won't put him down though.
It's just a shoulder - amputate if necessary.
Pat doesn't need it to dominate. When the age of the Vikings came to a close, they must have sensed it. Probably, they gathered together one evening, slapped each other on the back and said, "Hey, good job." - Jack Handey [Deep Thoughts]

If one man goes down, the next man must step up.

Go Vikings!

I assume a trained medical professional with a large saw would be needed.
Then, for your plan to work, a large stapler as well.
Maybe a nail gun?
But I'm thinking it would be easier if they just let him carry his amputated arm in his remaining hand for the game.

I think in the Childress press interview he said it was a fractured scapula and 2-6 week recovery period.
