First team offense only play a couple series. I think we can look forward to more scoring. I think we are ok.

    Drew Henson tonight played well.
He threw a perfect ball in the endzone that should have been caught for a TD, but his receiver didn't get his feet inbounds.
Henson threw another long pass earlier that was right where it needed to be, but his receiver was slowed down after getting his feet tangled up with a defender.
One thing Viking fans should consider is that Henson at one time competed with Tom Brady for QB and impressed a lot of people, including Brady.
He has had a rough couple years without question.
Parcells in Dallas did not give Henson a fair chance, and that has effected Henson's confidence -- but under the right coach, and Childress could be that person, Henson could bounce back and prove Jerry Jones' original instincts on Henson to be right on the mark.

    A copuple thoughts

Greenway looked real good, not just the
INT-TD, just seemed like he did a nice job sniffing out the screen pass, also was in almost every tackle.

I like how both Taylor and Peterson played tonight.

The cou-ple catches Sindney Rice made were great including the one in the second half on a second and long went for about seven yards or so, got really poped, but held onto it.

I was satisfied with the pressure from the D line.

I did not see the game, unfortunately. All I can say is: this game confirmed some things for me:

    a. Adrian Peterson will be for real in the NFL !
    ;D
    b. The defense is very, very good !
    ;D
    c. I still have my doubts about our QB.
    :

Overall, I have to say, I am happy about this result. Greenway, Sharper, and "All Day" did good.

Nobody has answered my question about Chad Johnson (CB). How did he look game 1? I thought he looked good tonight he made some good tackles. Does anyone think he has a shot at the roster?

Posted similar thoughts in the game thread, but there wasn't much to dislike tonight.
The main concerns coming in were adressed:

    1.
The O-Line really seemed to click and were moving people around
    2.
The D-Line was getting consistent pressure on the QB - Edwards and Robison specifically were in the action all night

Didn't like Ced Griffin's weak tackling OR the kick coverage, but overall we looked great.
Ced's performance last year speaks for itself...he should be fine...and if he struggles, I have no doubt McCauley can do the job over there.

I know we're all wondering about T-Jack and the WR crew, but trust me, if #1 and 2 concerns are good, we will be fine.

Hell yea, This guy has a great motor he plays hard on every play and really gets after the QB. Ray Edwards also looked good tonight. I think our pass rush will be improved this year. Im thinking a top 5 overall defense for us this year. Hopefully Ced Griffin steps it up.

Has anybody seen Ronyell Whitaker play this preseason? I havent noticed him he must not have made any plays so far. I think he was worse then Smoot last year. I think Chad Johnson should make the roster over him. Devonte Edwards will also be a solid addition to the secondary.
