Vikings intro movie

I didn't see this in posted yet, but if it is buried in some other thread I am sorry.

Was anybody else extremely disappointed in the new Viking's opening movie?
Here is what we have had for the past couple of years:

I don't know what they were trying to do this year.
At best there was some major miscommunication.
At worst they completely screwed it up.
The music was unintelligible.
The Video just showed highlights from last year. There was a two or three second delay between the music ending and Ragnar coming out.
There was a five or six second delay between Ragnar and everybody else coming out of the tunnel.
And the announcer really only said "And now let's welcome the 2007 Minnesota Vikings.".

It was all anti-climatic.
The crowd couldn't follow the music or the rhythm of the introductions, and never really got into it.
The whole point of these introductions is to get the crowd pumped up for the game.

I am pretty sure that the Vikings hired a new marketing firm last year.
Things like the "Bring in Da Horns", this opening movie, the commercials (which weren't bad), and Viktor are starting to disappoint me.
I hope they pull their heads out of their dimply buttocks before the next home game, and especially before the opener.

Maybe they are in preseason form still.
It was their first real run through??

Just out of curiosity what bridge was that suppose to be that the Viking ship went over the top of?

What was the new movie introduction like?

Maybe they are in the process of getting some sort of KAI (kick ass intro) ready for the season opener.

That did seem a little weak. I guess we'll see what they do to improve it.

I have not seen this years intro, but last years was weak.
We need something a little "tougher" like the Vikings themselves.
It look like something from Nick.com.

The Cavs have a fricken killer intro that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand-up.

I laughed pretty hard when it went over the bridge, then again I'm a heartless bastard.

I wasn't disappointed at all.
They used "Immigrant Song" to intro the Vikings, just as people have been clamoring for for years.
The timing was off a bit, but I was yelling and the fans around me were, too.

And no "Bring in Da Hornz" BS at all.
As noted elsewhere, this was their first game for 2007, as well.
Some kinks to be worked out, but I thought most of the changes from 2006 were good ones.
