Vikings to induct Randall McDaniel to Ring of Honor

Good to hear and someone deserving of being inducted as well. One of the best OL that we have been fortunate to have.

Mc Daniel was a great viking for years I have no problem with him being inducted but whats the criteria? others worthy?

Not sure of the exact criteria they look for vikesD, but I would think that to be inducted into the Ring of Honor, I would think it would be somewhat very similar to those criteria's needed to be inducted into the Football Hall of Fame, but more on a Vikings Team Personalized level....

I thought is was John Randell they where inducting this season?.....

Ned it is Randall McDaniel and i can' think of a more deserving guy and thought Dennis Green treated him like shit when he was the consummate professional and didn't deserve to be thrown away like Green did so i am glad that he is being honored.

Best O-lineman in the NFL for 10 years.

I hear you Whack, and I guess I just read it wrong somewhere, I just pray Hutchinson turns out to be half the guard for us that McDaniel was....He truly was a great player..

But on another note,
J. Randel would get my vote for the honor also, boy oh boy have we had our share of great players over the years... ;D ;D

It's only a matter of time before he's in Canton.

I can't wait for Johnny Randle to be inducted.
