Vikings Head Coach Brad Childress, along with Vice President of Player Personnel Rick Spielman, hosted a media clinic inside Winter Park on Wednesday. The event was attended by close to 40 Twin Cities media members and featured presentations from Coach Childress, Spielman and Vikings Head Athletic Trainer Eric Sugarman....

--A tape of quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, illustrating the progress he made last season through a series of missed passes or poor decisions that he made in early games but executed properly in later contests.

I'd like to get that video & post it here so the criticizers can see it. Many of them tend to focus & dwell on the negative portions from his play of the early season & don't envelope the season as a whole & look at the progress he made throughout the season with an open mind.

Their minds were made up based on his first few games & that's what they stick to & base their opinions on.

Really good stuff here singer, thanks for the post. It is great to hear some positive things about Tarvaris. I really think he will step up to the plate this year and prove he's our guy. Let's go # 7.

Brad Childress, Rick Spielman, and other members of the Vikings’ staff held a football tutorial for local media members at Winter Park on Wednesday.....

Been to a handful of "media" events in my life and they are always good for schmoozing. I have mostly been to college ones ... so they are run a little differently, but they are a lot of fun and everyone kind of relaxes and has a good time.
It is good to see the Vikings trying to build up a good back and forth with their local media folks.
