I agree with you here, I think he was hired because of the work he did with the Chargers.

Seems to me that this situation is like the one that our D coordinator under TICE got himself into when he was hired and then fired (resigned) from the Notre Dame job. It just shows a character flaw is all.

Foley can say the same thing, something like "I fudged it up previously, and forgot to change it back." ops:

Who Cares, as long as he has changed his ways. Apparently, everyone lies to further themselves in the world. That was partially sarcasm there.

Atleast the media in MN is finally investigating things, too much time on their hands I guess without a scandal.

I have lived in Memphis, Los Angeles, Miami, and Western PA and now West Central MN. I have never seen a local press that is as negative to their sports teams and BOTH papers in the twin cities. It is rediculous.

I personally wished that Wilf would have hired Studwell versus Foley.. I am a big fan of Studwell's, and hated to see him get over looked. If this deal gets blown out of proportion, then I hope that Stud gets his shot to shine.

Re: Vikings' hiring practices put in a questionable light

I'm really starting to wonder about some of the local media at times, not being in the twin cities I get the press news form there here and get the feeling some of the reporters=goods news is no news find a scandal. With the loss of the Lakers, North Stars and near retraction of the Twins do the media think it’s their job to jump all over local teams until they leave town. Will Souhan be happy when he gets to report "Vikings Clean Up and Move Out"? It's not that I want the media to blindly follow the team like a delusional Packer fans stuck in the 90's but I don't need to see them holding the door open for teams to leave either.

Everybody lies a little bit on there resume, you have to if you want to get a good job, if you can't BS your way alittle bit after you get the job then you have a problem.

Before the local media spouts off about Zygi "cleaning house", they should take a look at doing a little "house cleaning" of their own.
