A big WELCOME to Frazier,
A little something on his past... Who he is...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leslie_Frazier
Very good hire, IMHO.
Should be able to take this Defense that Tomlin started to mold...and continue molding it into a formidable Unit.
Unlike what Chilly is trying to do to the Offense (force a West Coast scheme down the throats of an offense that was arguably one of the best in the league for the 10 years prior to him getting here... but hey....that West Coast Offense is great when it all comes together...although I am still not sure what was wrong with the machine before he tinkered with it)........ Frazier can just continue adding the parts to make this Unit the strength of the team.
WELCOME COACH FRAZIER
Good hire. Congrats Leslie.
Too bad we couldn't weaken the Bores coaching staff...but I think that Frazier is a good hire! Hopefully, Frazier can teach our DEs to deliver the KNOCKOUT PUNCH to opposing QBs!!!

Surprisingly, there is no real talk about Frazier on the Colts forums.
However, there is actually quite a bit on some of the Cincinnati forums.
Apparently some of them weren't too happy with Frazier getting axed after two seasons of no talent. ;D

From what I gather, Frazier likes an aggressive, blitz strong defense, but his players tend to get caught out of position because of it.Quote:
a defense that attacks as if it's collective hair was on fire[/color], but despite my love for stunting and blitzing it's fair to say Frazier's units were rarely in the right position and couldn't tackle at all.

While Frazier got me more pumped with the aggressiveness of the plays -- they at least looked like they were doing something out there -- the poor tackling was as evident then as it is now.
Definitely a defense that will require the LBs and Backs to make their reads early and correctly to succeed.
