Vikings have their savior in rookie sensation

What do you have when you pour one part ginger ale, one part grape juice, one part vodka and one part grain alcohol into a punch bowl?

You have Purple Jesus, drink No. 6,014 at drinksmixer.com. You also have something the Bears could probably handle better than Adrian Peterson, also known as the Minnesota Vikings' Purple Jesus...........

But, in reality, it's all moot. Purple Jesus can bounce outside the tackles with the best of them, and the Bears will be on their knees in no time. All hail the king.
Sweet! This is coming from a Chicago sports writer.

Why not? There's several Bears threads out there including an Orton & a Hester thread.

Plus, the full scope of it & the discussion here will go beyond just this game.

    *hiccup*

Is it too early to start drinking vodka, grape juice, and grain alcohol for tonight's game?

why not indeed, it just would have gotten buried in other threads.

If the Vikes go past the first round in the playoffs, i might have to make the drink Purple Jesus for while i watch the game.. idk yet lol

I hate all these articles putting down the Bears by their local hacks. It will just piss off the Bears.

lol, it will just piss off the Bears?
Well how come the local media here in Minny has been knocking the Vikings for... well, ever, yet it doesn't spur us to do much.

Most professional athletes will say they don't pick up the sports section :P if you're playing well you're loved (or at least a positive article or two..), if you're playing poorly, they'll sure as hell point it out.

Many Bears players have used the word "embarrassed" many times this season in post game interviews when describing their performances.
If anything, that will be their motivation to play well, along with the October game.
Nothing any "local hack" writes will affect this game even the slightest

    Sounds like Madden on Favre
I've been a Viking fan since I was just out of diapers, hopefully we get Super Bowl win before I go back in 'em.
