Vikings have rare consistency in coaching

Players always come and go, and coaching staffs also tend to change from year to year. But in 2009, the Vikings will have the same staff of position coaches they had last year, a rare occurrence in the NFL these days....

Thanks for the read my friend......

The Vikings’ special teams coordinator in 2009, Brian Murphy, has been elevated from assistant to coordinator after Paul Ferraro left. The team also added other assistants to its roster of coaches. But when it comes to the lead coach at a position on offense or defense, the names and faces remain the same.
Loved the draft, the signing of Sage etc etc etc etc, however that move right thar will pay the biggest dividends my friends.

I'm hoping that the musical coachs from the last few years is what has been holding a very talented group of players back.

People on here may shrug it off because of their dislike for Bevell/Childress (understandably so), but Rodgers, Bienemy, Dunbar, etc are all very good coaches, lucky to have them sticking around.

The only coach holding our players back has no musical talent... or talent whatsoever.

The only thing Ferraro left to do was playing with Pat W. as punt returner.

No wonder why
such a
"talented" team as the Rams hired him ...

I am a huge Rogers fan and really thought he would have a shot at the O-coord job last year.
Now I am kindof on the fence as TJ did show some progress last year if nothing else as a viable backup when needed.

Bienemy, Dunbar........Well, I am holding off until a few weeks into the season before I start to throw them in with ole Leslie thats for sure.
