The Vikings will have six
"starters" in the Pro Bowl this afternoon. In the starting line for the Vikings are:
Offense
Running back: Adrian Peterson
Fullback: Tony Richardson
Offensive guard: Steve Hutchinson
Defense
Defensive tackles: Kevin Williams and Pat Williams
Strong safety: Darren Sharper, Minnesota
What happend to Birk? I though he went to the Pro Bowl too...

I like Birk, but to some extent he's made it on Reputation the past few years...with the injury holding him back and all, he really hasn't been the best C in the NFC.
I've been working and riding hard, I'm sore and tired.
Looking forward to relaxing with some brews and eating some grub watching some football!!!

I for one am suprised he made it to the Probowl.
Look I like the guy but he did have his problems this year especially when it came to pre-snap reads/Blitz recognition.

You failed to answer my question though.
What part of his technique made you think he should start over anyone?
Very few people can answer that question but they will stand up and vehemontly defend him as a starter and great C without having a clue about the position.
Don't get me wrong my friend.
I am a HUGE Birk fan.
However, I know that he had enough issues this year that my purple glasses couldn't block them all out.

even if birk didnt have a good year this year, hes still gonna make it because of the position he plays and hes made it the past few years
