Running the football isn't always glamorous, but the Vikings' backfield duo of Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor is driving toward some record-setting numbers.

It's our bread and butter. Pound the rock. Dominating the line of scrimmage is something the Vikings can hang their hat on, and with the two guys we have running the ball, we will continue to grind out big games.

It would be nice to have two 1000 yard rushers. 8)

Yes, it would be nice to say we had two runners go over 1000 yards, but not many teams have gone far in the playoffs with just a running game.
It would be nice to see our running game open up some passing opportunities.
If we can take advantage of those opportunities that is.

Steelers did it... Ravens... Tampa...
Good defense with a move the chains running game wins championships... problem is the Vikings don't have that sort of defense yet.
If the pass rush continues to improve though... well, it could be entertaining at least.

Let's not forget about the 270 yards passing.
Granted they weren't all from TJ but it's 270 yards none-the-less.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the game but TJ seemed to be pretty efficient at 17 for 22.
How did he play?

He played okay... accurate on his throws... moved around well... didn't really do much deep, made a few bad decisions, and occasionally help the ball a bit too long in the pocket... Was a solid game for a guy in his 9th game but still lots of room for improvement.

The undefeated Phins team had two 1000 yd rushers on it....oh wait, we can't be undefeated anymore this year.

that's good.
I did see some highlights.
Made a bad decision on that INT in the endzone.
Also, it seemed he didn't have a good sense of presense on that fumble.
He seemed to have gone right into the pass rusher.
Can't tell if that is his fault or not.
Glad to see some efficiency.
Something to build confidence on.

That would be nice, but I would still rather have one 2,000 yard rusher.
