What do you guys think if we picked this guy up?
    Hey Daviz.
If you are gonna start a thread on every guy that gets released in the next 2 to 3 weeks, go ahead and automatically ask for his Madden rating for me.

That will save me some time as I won't have to open these threads just to ask the question.

Re: Vikings on Ferguson short list

As I said in the other thread about him. I think it's logical that WRs on the market will all be associated with the Vikings.

And if the coaching staff will bring him in I wouldn't loose any sleep over it. I think he has proven that he's able to catch the ball even if he didn't put up superior numbers.

But try and compare him to McMullen. I'm not sure if it wouldn't be an upgrade there.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I don't want him, in the last 3 years he's missed 20 games due to injury.

Not trying to pick nits or anything.....but what's wrong with the three ex-cheesedicks (Bevell, Sharper, and Longwell) we have now?
I can understand not wanting Ferguson due to the injury factor, or lack of productivity in general...but not wanting him just because of the previous team he was on seems to be kinda...well...silly.

Just having him stop in Minnie should drive your neighbours nuts, then you can ask them where Koren is

Re: Vikings on Ferguson short list

The injury thing would hold me off a bit.
He has proven he can catch the ball and be productive.

His contract would have to be pretty minimal, and the medical staff would have to give him a good look over.

Also, remember the Pack is releasing him to make way for younger talent, something we should probably consider also.

I don't think he helps us, but if he wants to make our guys work harder to get there roster spot, no problem.

Had he been released prior to training camp, I would have said sign him for training camp fodder & then kick him to the curb.
