Re: Vikings Fans: Franchise QB or Outdoor Stadium?
I forgot to add how impressive the new DEN stadium is compared to our Dome.
We got free tickets through a mutual friend of a Vikings employee, and of course, DEN put us up in the highest, furthest corner they could, yet we could still see the entire field.
Not up close details, but a nice overview of the whole play developing.
The 2nd and 3rd levels are more stacked, so although you are high up there, you are still closer to the action on the horizontal plane.
Our entire section gasped loudly as we saw TWill wide fricken open and then sighed and sweared heavily as we watched it bounce off his hands, right in front of us.
D'oh!!
Probably would have been a game winner.
Its off topic, but did I tell ya'all how much fun we had?
We had about 30 Vikings fans from Summit County down there.
6 kinds of beer, 2 on tap, chicken, fish, steak kabobs, burgers and other snacks...and, a surprise visit from an 8 foot inflatable Viking!
We had 3 sideline tickets for pregame warmups, but we had to rotate them with some DEN fans.
So, we had to go in way early to get our shot.
This meant, the grill wasn't ready, and I didn't eat anything (besides liquids) until after the game.
I was as a longterm friend said, "The drunkest I've ever been."
I caught a ride to the hotel but forgot to bring anything with me.
No contacts/glasses, toothbrush, clothes etc.
I even lost my cell phone rolling down a snow covered hill...over and over.
I've got some pics if you'd like to see them.
Do I need to have them online to post in a thread?
Or can I upload directly from my PC?Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

Best is to use a free image hosting site like www.photobucket.com and then post the pictures using the [ img ] tags.
