Vikings fans could benefit from new blackout policy

Wonder what will actually happen here. Here in Cincinnati, where the Bengals only sold out one game last season, management actually elected to leave the sellout percentage right where it is. Seems like it has something to do with if the team sets the blackout percentage lower, and they sell over that percentage, they have to share the revenue from the overage with the visiting team. And you can't set different blackout percentages for different games...you pick one percentage to go by the entire season. The local talk radio said there was essentially no incentive for the owner(s) to lower the percentage (unless you just wanted to be nice to the local TV watching public).
