Re: Vikings Fan Fest Coming to Duluth
Didn't anyone go to this?
I got my mini Vikings helmet signed by Tony Richardson, Adam Goldberg, Joey Browner, and Jim Marshall. Doug Sutherland had to leave early, so he passed out pre-signed cards to those who didn't get a chance, including me. The wait in the Richardson/Goldberg line wait oddly short, while the "old-timers" line was about a half hour wait.
While Goldberg and Marshall seemed like they were doing community dervice, I found Tony Richardson (who looked surprisingly thin) to be pretty cool, as was Joey Browner. Some guy cut off the line right in front of me, but Joey said he didn't want to upset the kids, so the guy let me and some younger kids go by. Browner joked, saying I didn't look like a kid, but I told him I was 17 so I should still get an autograph. All in all, I had a good time.
