The Vikings have agreed to terms on a multiyear contract extension with Scott Studwell to remain the team's director of college scouting, owner Zygi Wilf said Saturday.
"We're very happy to have him aboard for the next several years," Wilf said of Studwell.
Studwell, 51, who has served in his current capacity since April 2002, re-signed despite a void created when the top personnel executive job was vacated last week by Fran Foley. Studwell's contract, along with those of the remaining scouts, was set to expire at the end of this month.
After 14 seasons as a linebacker, Studwell enters his 14th year in the club's personnel department.
Wilf also said the club is evaluating all of the scouts on the staff but most are expected to re-sign contracts as well.

Re: Vikings extend Studwell's contract
 Scott is 51 already?
It doesn't seem like it's been that long since he played.

And foolish Foley said there was gonna be a "bloodbath."Wilf also said the club is evaluating all of the scouts on the staff but most are expected to re-sign contracts as well.
