Re: Vikings Drop Asking Price For Mewelde Moore

although i like all 3 vikings running backs i could see y we would want to trade moore or taylor, personally i would rather trade taylor, he has a big contract and we could get more him him. And if moore gets his chances in this offense i think he could be just as good as taylor. It would also allow AD to get more touches. Its just a thought and i really doubt this would ever happen tho

I think it is the right time to move a talented player like Mewelde. He has shown on numerous occasions that with the ball in his hands he can make plays. Someone should be willing to take the risk on his health and see if he is able to shoulder the load full-time and we could always use another draft pick for a player who will be leaving us anyways. Good luck MeMo.

I really like memo, i think hes gonna be a really solid back somewhere if he gets a chance. that said, Trade him for anything you can get. its better than having AD, CT, Memo, C4, pinner, and whoever else floating around, with only two of them ever being able to do anything.
Huh? Fason & Pinner are no longer here. They were gone by the last cuts during the preseason.

If Memo is traded, CT & AD will be the only RB's on the active roster, unless they move Arkee Whitlock up from the practice squad.

my only fear is that thing i will not mention..

(knocks on all kinds of wood)

seriously, MeMo is a good change of pace. He never was a true #1, but he did provide a threat in the PR, and from the back field.

Good hands on a pass as well!!!!

all the hope that he goes on to have a continued career somewhere,
    GL MeMo!!!

and if he's not traded.. i'm sure we'll see him a few more times before his Mn days are done.

You mean C-Tay (who has already been injured twice this year) gets injured again & we are down to AD & Whitlock (who has had 0 yards in 0 attempts rushing as a Viking)?

I hate to see MeMo go too however, if a trade goes down, it is a good move IMO.
He will be gone after the season and he hasn't played much.
He's a good player and when given the chance to showcase himself he will prove it.

If he goes I wish him luck and just hope it isn't Green Bay that gets him.

Lets look a little bit bigger than just this year once.
What is Memo gonna do for this team this year?
    Take us to the SB?
Get something for him while the gettins good my friends.

Pull Witlock up is one of the studs get hurt, let him get some reps.
What is the big difference between him and the other guys are getting chances this year.

IMHO We can go along way to fixing several issues on this team with an extra pick or two. Heck maybe they aren't asking for only a pick, maybe they are looking for a DE that can generate a pass rush.

Houston has a glut of DE's (Shantee Orr / Earl Cochran) with Orr being one of them tweaner kindof guys.
Heck he had 7 sacks a few years back.

Denver has Jarvis Moss and ancient one (S Rice) sitting there.

Tampa has White and Chukwurah with Chukwaurah as the most interesting of the two.

Anyway, long story short, we don't know what is going on.
Picks, trade, who knows, but I do know one thing, we need to shore up our lines a bit if we plan on doing anything next year.

I like having the depth....but, within a millisecond of the Vikings picking AD it seemed obvious that MeMo would be ripe for a trade.
I just hope they get at least a frozen snickers bar and a bottle of Jargo's wine for him.
