Minnesota Vikings didn't lose a step during Adrian Peterson's absence

The Vikings didn't lose a step during Adrian Peterson's absence, and that gives them a healthy outlook as they await the return of their star running back Sunday.

Chester Taylor is a good runner too, but having AD back will allow us to continue to improve our passing game. Teams will still be clogging the LOS, and we need Tarvaris to be able to make plays with his arm. Losing Adrian for a couple games galvanized this team, and now that he is back, we are much better prepaired for a big finish.

Standing in front of his locker at Winter Park, Birk coyly turned to the stall to his immediate right and looked at the name next to that number.

"Oh, yeah. Peterson," Birk said. "He's another weapon in our offense."...

LMAO, that must get the "Childress' job is saved because of AD" and the "AD crotch-sniffers' crowds all bent out of shape.
The game is a team game, no matter how many people are deemed superhero status by the press and the fans.

yeah and our defense just happens to also be our offensive juggernaught.

I think it's more than likely that Childress is off of the hot seat due to AD.
My distain for the bone headed moves that this coach does on a weekly basis is not out of hate for my beloved franchise. Please don't act like our current situation is anything to write home about.

We lost to DET by 3, a game we should have won.
We beat giants who fold like lawn chairs after week 8 and we beat oakland.
Not exactly toppling the Pats or Colts is it?

However, the team has looked better since the greenbay lost.
Will we keep this up when the real competition hits? I hope so.

Yeah, that's the point I was making earlier with 'Soonerborn' and got dumped on.
Last year, OU had a couple losses, and then AD got hurt...
OU went on a 7-0 run without him.
Vikings w/o AD....
2-0, thier first back to back game winner in awhile.
Fooball is a team effort.

Another point i want to make.
You guys are right about Farvre... Well, it's not so much about him as about the media.
I was sick listening to that crap even while the Cowboys were having thier way with them.
Romo with 4 TD passes, and Favre on his 2nd interception.
Little talk of Romo, and long, exhaustive dissertation that belongs in the preface of Favre's biography.

Really, i wish Favre wouldn't have got hurt.
It would've been 5 pics for the day, i bet.
Thier new QB looked really good and did a much better job than Favre.

On the other hand, if AP played against Oakland he may very well have had 300+ yards rushing and 200 against the Giants and ended up with 2200 for the season.
